How much banking does it take for a short track to be considered “high banked” ?

Obviously a 0 degree banked is a flat track.. and even probably to a degree or 2. I’ve seen many tracks between 5 and 15 degrees be called semi-banked.. but some at less then 15 are considered “high banked” while other people you need at least 20 degrees to be high banked. How much banking do you consider a track to be “high banked” at ?

Do you think it to be fair that the Government is basically hand picking who survives in the banking world by giving certain ones the money. With this money (our money), the bank who gets the payout, buys out the ones who lose.
Does that seem alright to everyone?
Does it feel good to know the government is choosing who will be around later?
No one sees banks as people just the people that are losing their jobs as people….. will this idea spill off into other areas?

I’m trying to find the best mortgage rate to buy a house, therefore there are several mortgage companies running my credit. How in the world am I supposed to shop for a good rate if every inquiry damages my score? Isn’t that the dumbest thing?

I know that applying for a new card will reduce my FICO, and that increasing credit limits (while keeping debt amounts constant) will increase my score – but this would not be the case if requesting the increase in credit limit is treated as a new credit card application?

I just recently paid off all my past credit card debt. I paid off one student loan (expect the interest) and i have one student loan still active. I noticed my credit score went up, but i am still being denied. How long does it take to completely clear off my debt and how soon should i apply for credit so i can “rebuild” my credit. And do bad credit ever go away?

On average how much does one secured credit card raise your credit score per month?
Does the amount of points double if I have 2 secured credit cards?
( assuming card has a $200 limit and is only charged $10 and paid off in full monthly)
I’ve read everything from 5 points to 30 per month!
