I just got my first credit card and it has a $2,500 limit on it. I have charged $2,225 on it. I will only be able to pay the minimum payment this bill cycle of $50. Though I should be able to pay it off in full by late September. In the mean time I need to pay some bills. Will I get a $2,500 credit limit the following cycle or just the remaining $275 until I pay the bill?

I am now employed and ready to pay off 2 or 3 of my 4 cards. My credit score was very high and is dropping by the second. I need to have a good score in order to buy a car or a house.
My cards have already been placed with bill collectors.
And the cards were charged out from the get go.

I have completed masters in Business studies (finance). Now I have to write a thesis which is compulsory. I am interested to write on topic related to banking industry. It is very hard to make available all the data and some time banks do not provide most of their reports considering it confidential. So in the circumstances of limited resources and data I have to complete a thesis. Please suggest me.

I want to open a savings account for about $700 and charge the opening deposit to a credit card. The credit card gets points, which would be good for a gift card if I had about 700 more. I want to close the credit card account, but only after I get enough points, to not waste the points I already have. I’m going to open a savings account anyway, so I figure I might as well get those 700 points from it. In any case, the savings account should pay high interest and should allow transactions between banks online.
For example, Bank of America will let you open a checking account online, and use a credit card to fund it. The credit card transaction will be a purchase, not a cash advance. But I want to know what other banks will do that, and which of them will do it for savings accounts.
